After building the website for El Gato Tuerto I kept meeting the same kind of business owner: a restaurant, a barbershop, a botánica, a smoke shop — busy, Spanish speaking, with a great Instagram and no website. Brisa Sites is my attempt to serve them as a product instead of one-off freelance work.

The offer

Two plans with a hybrid price: a one-time setup fee plus a low monthly maintenance that covers hosting, changes and support. The monthly piece is what makes the business sustainable — and what the client actually wants, because it means someone keeps the site alive. Prices exist in two regional lists (USD for South Florida, COP for Colombia) and the page switches between them with a single data-region attribute.

Six verticals, one codebase

Instead of one generic pitch, each vertical has its own landing page — restaurants, barbershops, botánicas, smoke shops, retail stores and galleries — with the pains and examples that audience recognizes. They share one stylesheet and one script, so a change in the pricing block propagates everywhere.

  • Bilingual by design. Every text block exists in Spanish and English; a toggle flips the language without a reload and remembers the choice.
  • WhatsApp-first funnel. Every call to action opens a pre-filled WhatsApp message that names the vertical, so the conversation starts with context.
  • SEO groundwork. Canonicals, Open Graph, a ProfessionalService JSON-LD block with the areas served, and every landing listed in the sitemap.
  • Measured. GA4 on all pages; an internal admin page tracks leads and the pipeline.

Client sites

The sites delivered to clients are built with a separate Next.js site-builder, deployed on Vercel, with GA4, Google Business Profile and local SEO included in the setup. Payments are handled with Stripe in the US and Wompi in Colombia.

Takeaways

The engineering here is deliberately simple; the work was in the positioning, the pricing model and writing copy that a business owner reads on a phone between customers. It is the project where I learned the most about the business side of building websites.
